Teaching

My goal is to give students a disciplined, structured process for reasoning independently about difficult political questions.

  1. Evaluate evidence: students build evidence-based claims with data they collect themselves (active learning)
  2. Engage disagreement: structured discussion with rotating partners (think–pair–share)
  3. Scaffolded assignments: grades spread across many small assignments (draft → feedback → revision)
